Pax Autocratica price: cost after the launch discount

Pax Autocratica price after the ended launch discount: $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99, the China price adjustment, and the official full-release rise.

Pax Autocratica costs $29.99 USD, €29.99, £24.99, or ¥106 RMB in Early Access. Those figures come from the developers' official pricing announcement of July 22, 2026 (the China base later moved from ¥108 to ¥106; see below). The 17% launch discount ended on August 24, 2026, so today the base prices are what you pay. One durable policy fact remains: the price will increase when the game leaves Early Access.

This page keeps every number dated. Prices move, discounts end, and one region had an officially acknowledged adjustment incident: the live Steam store page is the only place that always shows what you will pay today.

The Early Access price in each currency

The announcement "PRICE, LAUNCH TIME & NEW TRAILER" (July 22, 2026) set one Early Access base price across four currencies:

| Currency | Base price (current) | Launch-window price (ended August 24, 2026) | | --- | --- | --- | | US Dollar | $29.99 | $24.89 (verified snapshot, August 17, 2026) | | Euro | €29.99 | €24.89 at the announced −17% | | British Pound | £24.99 | £20.74 at the announced −17% | | Chinese Yuan (announced) | ¥108 | ¥89.64 at the announced base | | Chinese Yuan (current) | ¥106 | ¥87.98 (verified snapshot, August 17, 2026) |

Two rows for the yuan are not a typo: the China region price changed after launch through an operator error, and the developers published an apology and a compensation process for it (details below).

The Hong Kong store page captured on August 17, 2026 showed HK$172.00 discounted to HK$142.76, an exact 17% cut. Whatever your region, the arithmetic was the same during the launch window: each region's base price minus 17%. Steam's listed prices include VAT where applicable.

The 17% launch discount (ended August 24, 2026)

The launch discount ran for two weeks from the August 10, 2026 launch and ended on August 24, 2026. Regional pages counted it down in local time: the Hong Kong page captured on August 17 displayed the deadline as August 25. The two verified launch-window snapshots ($24.89 US and ¥87.98 China, both August 17) are kept in the table above as the historical record.

With the discount over, the price sits at each region's base figure until full release. When the game leaves Early Access, the price goes up. That is not speculation but the developers' own answer to the Steam Early Access questionnaire, which asked "Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?" and received: "Yes. We plan to increase the price when the game is fully released."

The same questionnaire set the expected Early Access period at about two years, adjusted for development progress and player feedback. That made the launch window the cheapest verified entry point on record.

The China region price adjustment and compensation

On August 17, 2026 the developers published "关于国区价格调整及差价补偿的说明" (Statement on the China region price adjustment and price-difference compensation). A backend error changed the China region price from ¥108 to ¥106. Steam's pricing rules prevented an immediate reversal, so the region stayed at ¥106 for roughly two weeks; whether it later returns to ¥108 depends on those same rules, and the live store page shows the current figure.

The developers offered to refund the difference to everyone who bought at the pre-error price. The process they published, verbatim in substance:

  1. Join the official QQ group 792301603 and message the group administrator (Enterprise). Without QQ, email contact@multiverseinc.com.
  2. Provide a screenshot showing 2 or more hours of playtime (players under two hours were asked to apply later).
  3. Provide a purchase record or order screenshot proving the pre-adjustment price.

After verification the team pays out the price difference. If this applies to you, the Steam news page carries the original announcement.

Where to buy, and where not to

Steam is the only official storefront. Pax Autocratica launched into Early Access as a Windows PC title sold through its Steam page; no second PC store, key marketplace, or console store has been announced. Steam features that apply at purchase time: full controller support, Steam Cloud saves, and Steam Family Sharing.

Search results for the game on third-party key marketplaces reflect demand, not an official channel. This wiki has verified no seller outside Steam, so it cannot vouch for any key bought elsewhere. The refund and compensation processes above also run only through Steam records and the developers' own contacts.

If you want to sample the game before paying anything, the free standalone Pax Autocratica: Prologue and the demo on the main store page carry the same version, and the prologue guide explains what each covers.

What has not been announced

As of August 26, 2026, none of the following exists in any official channel: the full-release price (only the fact of an increase), final regional pricing at full release, any bundle or edition beyond the single Early Access edition, or any second storefront. This page does not guess at them.
